Zombies and Werewolves in The Snarling

I love movies and even when I was younger I knew one of the things I wanted to do was make movies. I even “borrowed” my parent’s video camera and filmed a scene of the Grim Reaper coming to earth and killing a bunch of different people. Imagine if you were making a film and something strange started to happen. What would you do? Would you consider shooting and finishing the film or would you run away screaming? This is the subject of the latest horror comedy entitled The Snarling from Wild Eye Releasing.

The film is set in a remote, small village located in England as the cast and crew of a zombie movie are using this as their location. As the movie is being shot there it is plagued with problems so much in fact people are calling it cursed. There are three locals named Les, Mike and Bob who see this movie coming to their town as a godsend and want a chance to be famous. However, when a series of grisly murders start occuring under a full moon people are wondering if the killings are being done by some animal or something even more sinister. Without giving much more away all I can say is if you want a great movie strap yourself in and give this a watch.

The only problem that I have with this release is there were no special features on this disc. Outside for a few trailers of other Wild Eye Releasing movies that’s all there is. It would have been nice to at least have a commentary track so we can see what went into making this film however, we only have a setup and scene select to go off of.

This is a pretty entertaining film and it has some great moments however, it needs a bit more meat on it’s bones. For more information about this and other films head over to www.wildeyereleasing.com and be wary of the next full moon.
