Xbox Play Anywhere Launches September 13

Microsoft recently revealed its Play Anywhere campaign during last month’s E3. The initiative allows you to play a litany of games, by participating companies, and play them not only on Xbox One but also Windows 10 PCs. That said – all future first party games by Microsoft will be made playable on both consoles. The release date for the upcoming program is September 13th – and than the world will change for Xbox gamers everywhere.

For those playing on the PC, the Windows 10 Anniversary addition is necessary to those wishing participate. For those of you rocking out with the Xbox One, the summer update for the console is all that is required. To ensure that gamers understand which games can be played with the Play Anywhere initiative, the Xbox Store will now include a Play Anywhere logo on specific titles – the later half of the year promising more than a few exciting titles to arrive with the logo.
