Watch Dogs 2 Confirmed

For lovers of the game Watch Dogs by Ubisoft, good news has arrived. Ubisoft has officially confirmed Watch Dogs 2, a game that will make its debut in E3 in 2016. In an email, which contents were released to the public, the company said during its E3 presentation it will “present highly anticipated titles such as Watch Dogs 2, For Honor, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.” Also promising to release some hidden gems amongst those anticipated titles.

For those of you excited to hear any upcoming information straight from the source, Ubisoft will be showcasing their newest releases on Monday, June 13, starting at 1 PM during their E3 showcase.

This confirmation was caused by a YouTube personality, who posted a picture of a Watch Dogs 2 gift box on Twitter. Effectively ruining the surprise release that Ubisoft likely had planned for the next instalment to the Watch Dogs series.

ckctt2nveaao_ybUbisoft’s chief executive, Yves Guillemot, didnt have much to say in regards to the upcoming title. However he did state that Watch Dogs 2 “will have a new tone” and that it has the potential to be one of Ubisoft’s best selling games. Especially given the fact that the first instalment of the game, Watch Dogs, has sold more than 9 million units into retail.

This game likely will sell out right at launch, so keep your ear to the ground about what’s to come.
