If you have someone on your list that loves movies then look no further than Umbrella Entertainment. This Austrailian based company has tons of great movies at low prices so you can get something for everyone on your list. Here are a few suggestions for some of the genres that they carry.
Action Packed Fans: If you have someone that is into action there are more than a few options you can get them. For fans of trailers there is the Delirium series that covers the 70’s and 80’s and a new batch of trailers that covers both decades. Have a fan of Martial Arts movies? Then check out the Legend of Drunken Master, Police Story 3 Supercop or The Man from Hong Kong. There are even some of the early Marvel based movies such as Captain America and the Punisher (starring Dolph Lundgren) if you wanted to get someone on your list those bits of forgotten nostalgia.
Those That Love Sci-Fi: There are more than a few great films that you can get people on your list that cannot be found anywhere else. From the amazing cop buddy film Alien Nation to the twisted post apocalyptic tale of Hardware these are just some of the amazing films that Umbrella stocks. They even carry the classic Dennis Quaid/Lou Gosset Jr. film Enemy Mine! This is one of the best pieces of sci-fi that I have seen and if you haven’t seen it yet you can now own it both on DVD and Blu-ray!
Loving the Documentaries: If you love true stories and how people got to that point then check out one of the better documentaries that Umbrella Entertainment has to offer. With such great ones as The Stan Lee Story to a double feature that has Electric Boogaloo and Machete Maidens which both deal with film making. Each of these documentaries are going to have something for someone on your list.
Home for Horror: Umbrella Entertaiment is most well known for it’s Cult and Horror films and there are more than a few great deals that can be had. From the newly released Day of the Dead ultimate edition (that was reviewed on this site with a 5/5 rating) to some of the more recent films like Cargo or the Endless. There are even a few films that are based on the HP Lovecraft stories such as Dagon and the Re-animator Trilogy. If you have fans of those on your list I would strongly urge you to pick up those. But that’s not all as they also stock a 40th anniversary edition of Suspiria which would be well suited for people who love that film. However, if you are on a budget I have great news for you as you can get some of their DVD’s for as low as $2.50 and some of their blu-rays for around $4.00! Check out their releases and see what bargains are waiting for you.
