Origin: Imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit, Cage then known as Carl Lucas, was part of a prison experiment that went wrong when one of the guards tried to sabotage it. Lucas emerged from the experiment with super powers, escaped from prison and assumed the name Luke Cage.
