Top 10 Iron Fist Covers
Marvel and Netflix look to make it three for three with the release of Iron Fist later this week. Iron Fist first appeared in Marvel Premiere #15 in 1974 and was part of Marvel’s foray into martial arts inspired comic books. Later teamed with Luke Cage he became half of the iconic duo, Power Man and Iron Fist. After Iron Fist’s series is over, he and Cage will be reunited on screen along with fellow Netflix alumni Daredevil and Jessica Jones to form the Defenders. Origin: As a child Daniel accompanied his parents to the mystical city of K’un-Lun located in the Himalayan mountains. When his parents were killed before reaching K’un-Lun, Daniel was taken in by Lei Kung and trained in the ways of the martial arts. At the age of 19 he defeated Shou-Lao The Undying by driving his fists into dragon’s molten heart and taking over the mystic power of the iron fist.
Powers: Chi enhanced strength and stamina; glowing fist capable of striking with super human strength and impact; can use his chi to heal himself and others

Interesting Facts: Daniel is one in a long line of Iron Fists dating back several hundred years. He became Daredevil for a time to help convince the public that Matt Murdock wasn’t the Man Without Fear.
