FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The extended 90-minute episode of television’s number #1 show, AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” airs Sunday, December 4th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the seventh episode, “Sing Me a Song” – written by Angela Kang and Corey Reed, and directed by Rosemary Rodriguez – viewers will get a more detailed look into the world of the Saviors and their home, the Sanctuary. At the same time, members of Alexandria look for supplies.
The first half of season seven sees the group fractured, broken, bereaved, and picking up the pieces while living under the thumb of oppression. Negan will have successfully brought the survivors under his will, brutally convincing them to live under his rules with a deadly and horrific example of what happens if they don’t.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” reigns as television’s most watched drama for Adults 18-49. “The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.
Then, viewers can catch a new episode of the live after-show “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick joined by “The Walking Dead” star, Chandler Riggs, Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd and musician, Josh Homme at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Then, season six of “Comic Book Men” continues at 1:00 a.m. ET/PT. On the seventh episode, “Wurst Episode Ever,” Kevin and Harley come to town for the Yoga Hosers premiere, and Ming gets transformed into the lead villain by a special-effects makeup legend.
In its sixth season, AMC’s popular unscripted series “Comic Book Men” takes another dive into world of geekdom by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith’s New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. Leading the team behind the shop’s counter are Walt, Bryan, Michael and Ming, who geek out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and the legends behind them. Special guests this season include Cassandra Peterson, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark; The Bionic Woman, Lindsay Wagner; and makeup artist extraordinaire Robert Kurtzman. Whether it’s buying and selling memorabilia or embarking on wild adventures away from the store, The Stash cast shares all the juicy details with Kevin during their hilarious podcast, which is woven throughout the series.
