There’s no surprise in the most recent tale flowing out of Telltales doors. In September, a majority of the studios’ staff was let go with no severance pay by the company due to financial issues. This left them with only a skeleton crew on board to help tidy up their affairs, affairs which now seem to be coming to an end as the company declares bankruptcy.
According to GameDaily, the studio behind The Wolf Among Us and the Walking Dead series is getting help from an outside company – Sherwood Partners – to help them finish 
up with the closure of their company.
The liquidation of Telltales’ assets will be handled by Sherwood, while the company likely tries to figure out what went wrong. In even worse news for ex-employees, their remaining health care benefits will come to an end this November 30th.
Goodbye dear Telltale, you reached too far and crashed so hard.
