A major new show has been added to the Forest City Comicon featuring Project Play at the London Convention Centre. The self-described “Greatest Live Art Competition in the Known Universe”, Super Art Fight, will make their Canadian debut this November as the headliner of the “Geek Comedy Fest” at the event.
“Our team has been working hard to bring in new and unique attractions that fans will only see at Forest City Comicon,” explained organizing committee member John Houghton. “With this being the first-ever Canadian showing for Super Art Fight, fans are in for a real treat this November.”
Founded in 2008, Super Art Fight presents a live event unlike any other – a hilarious hybrid of live drawing, pro-wrestling style dramatics and characters, and improv comedy. They’ve been featured in the pages of Wired and the Washington Post, and entertained crowds all over the United States. Now they are set to invade Canada for both Saturday and Sunday of the Forest City Comicon. Fans can cheer their favorites on to victory, but prepare themselves for the unpredictable topic generator known as THE WHEEL OF DEATH.
Super Art Fight is the headliner event for the “Geek Comedy Fest” taking place during the Forest City Comicon. The “Geek Comedy Fest” also includes showings from well-known Canadian acts including “404s”, “Fandom Musicals”, and “Fan Fiction: The Show”. Admission to all shows is FREE with admission to the convention while seating is available.
