SHP COMICS LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER INDEPENDENT FILM EXCLUSIVELY ON KICKSTARTER

SHP Comics Goes Beyond the Page with a Futuristic Tale of Human Connection in Debut Independent Film, “Technical Support”

AMHERST, MA – SHP Comics, the exciting new comic book publisher rapidly gaining momentum and a reputation for innovative storytelling, is proud to announce the release of the company’s first independent film, Technical Support. Based on the successful comic series EroTech by Darin X. Cape and Geoffrey Krawczyk, the film marks a significant milestone for SHP Comics as they venture beyond the page and onto the screen.

Shawn Hainsworth comments “I am thrilled to see SHP Comics expand our audience. SHP is first and foremost committed to producing edgy, thought-provoking, and action-packed comic books, but this project was such a good fit for a short film, and we managed to atttact such an amazing cast, how could we say no?”

Erotic, edgy and hilarious, EroTech takes you inside a Silicon Valley startup producing sex robots. Samantha Jenkins rallies her team of misfit engineers and out-of-touch managers to release a new sex robot on time. The only problem is that the robot doesn’t know when to quit.

Directed by Kris Lefcoe (SuperstoreGiving Up), Technical Support brings the hilarious narrative of The SEX-6000 to life on screen. With a stellar cast that includes Courtney Pauroso (Jackass Forever, Vanessa 5000), Davey Johnson (Silicon ValleyThe Art of Self Defense), and Aparna Nancherla (Mythic QuestWhat We Do In Shadows). The film promises to entertain audiences with the same unique blend of humor, wit, and thought-provoking storytelling that had fans chattering when EroTech premiered on Kickstarter last year.

Launched last week just ahead of New York Comic Con, fans can directly support the Technical Support campaign now with exclusive perks and rewards for backers, and exciting stretch goals to be unlocked as it progresses!
