At the end of the last issue of World of Tanks we found out why Snakebite was being driven off the field. It turns out that Snakebite is a training tank and it would not be able to withstand a tank round. So with this new information can Snakebite and its crew make a difference on the battlefield?
The comic starts off with a massive battle in history which was called Operation Goodwood. Operation Goodwood took place in Caen which was not too far from Normandy in France. This operation was one of the biggest battles of the Second World War and the battlefield was strewn with the wrecks of burning tanks on both sides. As the battle rages on and the fires can be seen at night from over the treetops both sides are about to reinforce their units in the field. Both sides are engaging with one another before the eve of a great battle as they are trying to scrounge for food or talk about the battles they have fought. However, by the end of the issue it seems that the Germans have stumbled across a horrific sight. What did they find and will it affect their fighting during this massive operation?
Like I have said before this is a great comic as it focuses not just on the tanks but the people that pilot them. Mixing in some historical references makes this comic a great read for fans of the game and WWIII alike.
