Pokemon Sun & Moon Announced to the World

It’s in sudden moments of clarity that I realize despite my tendency towards childish antics, I am in fact not a kid. This moment of clarity was brought to me due to Nintendo remind me that it’s been twenty years since they released their first Pokemon game.
That’s right guys, we’ve been playing Pokemon for twenty years.
With this announcement came the news that a new generation of Pokemon was hitting the scene after a rather long hiatus. The last pokemon game came out in 2013, Pokemon X and Y doing well respectively, however two new titles are in line to be dropped.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
The logos for these respective games are released at the end of this rather lengthy trailer that was made to celebrate our twenty year long love affair with our favourite ‘pocket monsters’. However that’s all that was released.
Talk about anti – climatic.
You know nothing about the setting of the game, what’s going on, zilch. The only information we currently have is that it’s on its way to us. The game is scheduled to release during next year’s holiday schedule.
While you wait for that game though, Pokemon Red and Blue are being re-released to celebrate the poke worlds twentith year on the market. Even more exciting than that is that these older Pokemon will be able to port over to the new games via the Pokemon Bank.
