To those of you who love Pokemon Go, or are just huge Pokemon fans in general, then you’ll be happy to know that a new mobile game has just been announced. The game is being made by DeNA, which has worked previously for Nintendo.
DeNA didn’t have much to say about the upcoming game, only stating in their latest financial report that “[We] plan to launch a new and exciting smartphone game this fiscal year based on the globally popular Pokemon franchise in partnership with The Pokemon Company,”. Any other details about the game, in regards to game style or release date were unfortunately not included but hopefully will be announced soon for super fans of the franchise. We do know that the game is reportedly slated to release in the coming months, so it shouldn’t be too long of a wait. This isn’t the Japanese developers first time at bat for Nintendo, as they have made notable games such as Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and even the upcoming Mario Kart Tour. That said, they haven’t dipped their foot into the Pokemon world as of yet, so we can only hope they do our favorite pocket monsters some justice.
