Kingdom Hearts Fan’s Get A Surprise Before the New Year
Author: S.A.
For those of us who simply fell in love with this extremely cheesy, yet surprisingly heart grabbing game, seeing the new Square Enix trailer for the franchise will have made their holidays season that much brighter. With a new showcase for both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, fans are sure to be frothing at the mouth from sheer excitement.
The trailer for 2.8 showcased two of the titles contained within its beautiful scripting. One of which, Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover, is comprised completely as a cinematic experience and meant to expand the Kingdom Hearts history. This game has no visible characters shown in the trailer, but seems to feature a beautiful graphics engine and a story through which we will begin to understand more about the Kingdom Hearts universe than ever before.
The second title, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, was originally a 3D’s exclusive. Now it’s brought to us again with stunning PS4 graphics. This game is important in the Kingdom Hearts chronology, as it set’s the stage not only for Kingdom Hearts 3, but all the games in the franchise. Also contained within the upcoming title 2.8 is a continuation of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. In the continued title Kingom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage, we revisit Aquas story and get a feel for the game play graphics and engine available to us in KH3.
However, despite the numerous things that Kingdom Hearts 2.8 has to offer, the most exciting part of the news release that we can concentrate on lies in the gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3. While it may not reveal anything about the worlds or characters that we will be visiting, the trailer managed to showcase some flashy new combat moves and stunning graphics.
That said, this game looks like it’s going to be a ridiculous amount of fun for us fans.
Though it’s time to drop some sad news in with the excitement, that being that Kingdom Hearts 3 still has yet to have a release date announced. While Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is slotted for a release sometime in 2016, the wait for our final adventure is still unclear in regards to it’s time line.
The wait continues KH fans.
