There was a massive event this weekend in the gaming community if you play Fortnite Battle Royale. The Season 11 event ended with a missile launch and it resulted in the entire map being sucked into a black hole. Everyone had conflicting emotions as it was trending on Twitter that Fortnite is gone and won’t be coming back. Epic Games went as far as to delete everything on Twitter and on other social media. It was as if everything was wiped off the face of the earth and it was even rumored that they were giving up Battle Royale to focus on PvE Save the World campaign.
However, earlier today we had gotten a trailer for Chapter 2 of Fortnite and even I am excited for this! And I will tell you why.
Supposedly this isn’t just going to be a game where you get experience just at shooting other players. You will get experience for doing other things such as fishing and harvesting and even surviving in the game! To me that makes it better as while it is hard to land a 1st place win, especially solo, it will be amazing to see how things progress in this new expansion of the game. Also, we are getting a new map as well and this is going to include things such as boats so that will add a new element to the game as well.
When will this all be released? Supposedly if it isn’t out by the time you read this it will be sometime this week. Yes, they have been hard at work to get this through development because they know there are people that want to get back out there and play this game. All in all this has generated a ton of publicity for the Epic Games shooter and I can’t wait to see what they do next.
