We’re back at it boys and girls, Fall Out 4 is coming, and the post-apocalyptic dream land game goes on for another round. This time around, the game starts on the day the big bomb drops: October 23, 2077. Our character takes cover in Vault 111, and emerges 200 years later into a new desolate wasteland for us to explore. We get to explore a vast map that covers Boston, Massachusetts and small sections of New England. That said, don’t think its going to be a short ride, and buckle in for a long grind through.

The game, like its predecessor, offers a whole selection of goodies to work through during gameplay. The huge open world concept aside, we are offered the ability to customize any of our weapons. This is a massive selection choice when you realize that the game offers 50 different weapons without any DLC content, allowing for over 700 modifications to be made in total to this brand new fire power. On top of this, the armour we now possess isn’t just an over the body enhancement, but rather something that can be modified and changed piece by piece. Ever wanted a jet pack in Fall Out 4? You’re about to get your wish.

An interesting new add on is the ability to build and deconstruct settlements and buildings. On top of that, these new settlements will be powered with electricity using a unique power system that you will have to establish. If that wasn’t enough, you now must sustain this new brought up town with food and water. Talk about a whole lot of responsibility.

There’s a lot for us to see and experience in the new Fall Out 4. My suggestion? To grab it and enjoy the ride. It’s an FPS game with very few contenders, and is something that will likely consume hours of your gaming life.

Who can ask for more than that?
