Days Gone Delayed Until 2019

For those of you looking forward to the upcoming PS4 exclusive game, Days Gone, it’s time for some bad news. The zombie game has been delayed, looking to be launched in 2019 as oppose to 2018 like originally promised. Sony announced this very bluntly, stating that “We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date,” but seemingly unwilling to state why the game has been delayed.

Previously Sony Worldwide Studio president Shuhei Yoshia had promised a launch date in 2018, though admittedly no clear release date was ever announced. However it seems they’ve run into some sort of snag, and the company is leaving us a bit high and dry. They have left us with nothing but the brief glimpses of the game we have seen so far, gameplay footage of both night and day playing, to keep our gaming minds warm at night.

We’ve been waiting on the game for quite some time, as it was originally announced at E3 2016 – thus the delay might be met with quite a bit of scorn. However, not all things need be bad as we’ve found out the release date for another upcoming PS4 exclusive. Highly anticipated game, Detroit: Become Human’s, has been confirmed to be arriving in our hands May 25th. The game is all about choices, much like similar titles such as Heavy Rain, and will be something to look forward to in the coming months.
