A Customized Controller for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
Author: S.A.
The Prequel to Mirror’s Edge is finally be released this May, and many a lover of the original are in excited. I include myself in this overzealous batch of gamers. With the games imminent release, a new limited edition controller for the Xbox has been released with three mini figures. The wired controller from PDP was announced earlier last week, and features the Mirror Edge logo and a nifty design tool to control the audio levels of your game directly on the controller.
The Mirror’s Edge Catalyst controller has the same features as the Xbox One controller, and has unique on-hand audio controls that allow you to adjust such features like game and chat audio levels. It’s similar in nature to the Fallout 4 controller released by PDP and you can watch this video to see how it all works.
The customized controller costs $59.99 and can be pre-order right now.
The figures available with the pre order are 1/20 scale and very limited in availability, as there are only 3,500 available. The figures feature Faith, Icarus, and Kuma all of which retail for $19.99.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst comes out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. All of these items are going to be released along with it.
However, I wouldn’t necessarily suggest wasting the additional cash on some audio upgrades and a new skin for your controller. This is especially true if one considers that the cost of one of these new wired controllers could garner me a much better game in the future.
It’s all about being economic.
That and wired controller’s suck.
