KITCHENER ONTARIO – Richard Comely (creator of Captain Canuck) and his wife Evelyn are pleased to announce Tri-City Super Con 2, coming to Bingemans Conference Centre September 28 (11 to 7 pm.) and Sunday September 29, (noon to 5 pm).

Some of Canada’s most exciting young actors are headlining Super Con’s celebrity guest list this year including: Alex Mallari Jr.(Dark Matter), Jeff Teravainen (Dark Matter), Michael Antonakos (Assassin’s Creed), Sean Baek (Killjoys)  Power Rangers Kevin Duhaney and Jeffrey Parazzo are appearing Saturday September 28 only.

Returning to Super Con 2 by popular demand are Mark Meer (Mass Effect) and Paul Amos (Assassin’s Creed). Very Special Guest and our only American actor this year is Chalet Lizette Brannan (Peter Pan: Land of Forever, Crepitus). Chalet at only 14 is already an Emmy award nominee.

Comic book legend Ken Lashley is the lead comic book artist at Super Con this year along with a number of other top talent guest artists including Comely.

All the popular attractions are back along with Super Con’s exclusive Sit and Draw and PSA film shoot. Free mini escape room games from Adventure Rooms Canada, on the spot magic from Scott Boyd and Graeme Reed and Landmark’s Free Spin to Win for Movie passes are new this year at Tri-City Super Con 2.

Our charity auction supports Kitchener’s Extend A Family. Both Drayton Entertainment and Stratford Festival are contributing tickets for the auction. Len’s Mill is again sponsoring all the very popular Cosplay costume contests.

“Live Theatre, for which this area is world famous and pop culture bring so much excitement and colour to our community” claims Comely.

Admission prices have been reduced from last year. Tickets are available online, at your local comic book store and at any Little Short Stop store.

“We have put a tremendous amount of effort into organizing Kitchener’s second Super Con and we’ve had incredible support from our many sponsors and the over 100 vendors this year.” Some of the vendors include the top dealers in rare comic book collections. The variety of collectables, novelties and treasures is overwhelming. Other comic cons have an Artist Alley. We feel we are a classier con and have Artist Avenue. This year we feature dozens of top talents selling prints, original art and accepting commissions for sketches.
