Ubisoft Canada’s Top Games to Beat the Heat This Summer

With the season of cottage getaways and road trips in full swing, the summer heat can get exhausting. When cold drinks or beach trips can’t cool you down, sitting on the couch with the fan or AC becomes your best option. But how are you going to cure your boredom?

Fear not, Ubisoft Canada has compiled a list of the best games to play when you’re just not in the mood for any more fun in the sun:

Rainbow Six Siege

It’s not too late to play one of Ubisoft’s most popular games of recent years, which surpassed 45 million players last year. Operation Phantom Sight, the second season of Year 4 of R6, launched in June with two new operators: Nøkk and Warden. R6 fans can also watch Canada’s best players compete in the Rainbow Six Canada Nationals (#R6CN), with Stage 1 quarterfinal and semifinal matches streaming every Saturday in July starting at 7 p.m. ET on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel.

Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The Division 2

Grab your friends and take to the streets of Washington! Episode 1 of the game’s FREE Year 1 content plan – D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions – features new locations to explore and picks up where the story leaves off after the final boss at Tidal Basin. Episode 1 will release July 23 for all Year 1 Pass holders, and July 30 for all players. Just in time for a rainy summer day with friends.

Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Before Ghost Recon Breakpoint – featuring the one and only Jon Bernthal – releases on October 4, you should probably dust off the cobwebs and hone your Ghost skills! It’s the perfect time to play Wildlands as Ubisoft just released Mercenaries, a free game mode featuring an eight-player free-for-all PvPvE gameplay experience. Players can also take advantage of the Wildlands Rewards Program to redeem special rewards in Breakpoint, available until September 27.

Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
