American Horror Story has been going on for several seasons and we have gone everywhere from the original Murder House to the Cult that wanted to bring about chaos. Now the folks over at Fox have dropped a teaser for the latest American Horror Story and it is called Apocalypse. They have released two teaser images of a baby drenched in blood and a black hand reaching for the infant.
The main thing that is exciting about this show is supposedly it will link the characters from Murder House and Coven together. However, it isn’t known if they are just going to jump off from this point or if will you have to have seen previous episodes in the series. Personally, I haven’t seen the first three seasons of American Horror Story as I started off with Freak Show and went from there (however, I will say I skipped Hotel as I found it to be way too confusing and it didn’t hold my interest).
There is also rumor that this show is on parallel with Dante’s Inferno and how there are nine circles of hell. So far that rumor has been corroborated with some of the seasons as we have Greed (Freak Show) , Gluttony (Hotel), Heresy (Cult), Anger (Roanoke), Limbo (Murder House), Fraud (Asylum), Treachery (Coven). This leaves two circles not fulfilled and those are Lust and Violence and we can only assume that Apocalypse will be filled with all the red stuff.
However if this is true will the show just have another season and call it quits? Seeing as all the circles of hell have been explored would there be another reason to continue? Also, seeing as we are getting a team up between the characters of the Murder House and Coven is there a chance for us to have other team ups in the future?
