Season 3 of AMC’s critically-acclaimed scripted drama, HUMANS, premieres on Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT. The series, penned by writing partners Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (SpooksSpooks: The Greater Good), is set in a parallel present and explores what happens when the lines between humans and machines are blurred. “HUMANS” provides a thrilling look at the evolution of technology and its effect on society. Timely and relevant, the eight-episode new season unfolds on a bigger scale than ever before.

Set one year after the end of Season 2, and a year after what the shows producers have dubbed the “Dawn of Consciousness” where all of the synths have been granted self-awareness. The new season chronicles the fallout from that particular event including the dynamics presented to society with the existence of two models of synths: the familiar ones with green eyes and new subservient models with orange ones.

Based on the award-winning Swedish sci-fi drama “Real Humans” created by Lars Lundstrom, “HUMANS” is executive produced by Vincent, Brackley, Derek Wax, Emma Kingsman-Lloyd for Kudos in association with Wild Mercury Productions and Lundstrom and Henrik Widman for Matador Films. Joining Vincent and Brackley in the writers’ room is Debbie O’Malley, Namsi Khan, Jonathan Harbottle, Melissa Iqbal and Daisy Coulam. The series is produced by Vicki Delow for Kudos, SVT and Matador Films. The third season was commissioned for Channel 4 by Beth Willis and Simon Maxwell and Kristin Jones for AMC.
