When you think of James Gunn you think of someone who reshaped and brought to life the Guardians of the Galaxy. With that franchise coming to a close with the next instalment some people have wondered what was next for Mr. Gunn.

It didn’t take long to get an answer as he is now working with DC Comics and we have a list of what is coming out next!

The first arc of stories will kick off with the next four movies which are going to be Shazam: Fury of the Gods and The Flash.

Then the DC universe will RESET. Yes, you heard right. We are getting a reset of the DC universe and the next film will be Blue Beetle followed by Aquaman II.

Then we’ll get Creature Commandos which is an animated series and looks awesome. It is going to have a mix of famous monsters and other characters such as Weasel! Next is Waller, a live action series that depicts the life and story of Amanda Waller and looks awesome. Superman Legacy is going to be the next project and sounds awesome as well.

Debuting on HBO is Lanterns which is going to be about the Green Lanterns focusing on John Stewart and Hal Jordan! Next is a shocking one as the Wildstorm property, The Authority will be getting its own movie with those characters joining the DCU. Paradise Lost is another live action series that will focus on events that happened on Paradise Island (which is where Wonder Woman is from). Next is a new Batman film called Batman: The Brave and the Bold focusing on the comic series of the same name. This is going to be epic as it introduces Damian Wayne who is Bruce’s son and he is an assassin that the Dark Knight tries to reign in. Booster Gold is also getting a series and this is something I cannot wait for as this guy is from the future and uses that tech to be a superhero and is pretty smug. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is one of the last two films and it deals with the hero being raised on a small chunk of Krypton. Last but not least is Swamp Thing and this dark horror movie is going to be amazing!

Do you think DC will be better with these new projects and give Marvel a run for their money or do you think it’s too little too late? Let us know as we love to hear your opinions and thoughts!
