MultiVersus Closed Alpha Begins Today; New Video Features 2 vs. 2 Showdown with FGC Pro Gamers MVD & Lord Knight vs. ESAM & Light
Warner Bros. Games today announced that the Closed Alpha for MultiVersus, the all-new free-to-play, platform fighter in development by Player First Games, is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC with full cross-play support and dedicated server-based rollback netcode for robust online competition. Players can register at MultiVersus.com for a chance to participate in the invite only Closed Alpha, which begins today (May 19) and runs through May 27 at 5 p.m. PDT. Additionally, a new MultiVersus video was released today featuring professional Fighting Game Community (FGC) gamers MVD & Lord Knight against ESAM & Light in a fierce 2 vs. 2 competition. Hosted by FGC commentators Sharpie and AJAX who provide insight into the skills on display, the best-of-five series showcases a variety of gameplay mechanics, character types, and cooperative strategies utilized by each team, along with post-match interviews with all four pro players discussing their experience.
