When people think of superhero movies most people think of Marvel. There are more than a few films released in the MCU franchise so far and they have it down to a science. With overlapping plots, great action and wonderful characters Marvel really does not have a lot of competition when it comes to superhero movies.
Until today.
The trailer for the new Suicide Squad movie dropped and I am here to tell you that this is going to be a great movie. Without explaining the trailer all I can tell you is this is going to put the first movie to shame. There are a huge cast of characters ranging from the familiar Harley Quinn and Rick Flag (played by the same actors) to more odder characters like King Shark (voiced by Sylvester Stallone!) and Weasel (played by Sean Gunn).
Now granted I love Marvel and their movies however, if DC keeps this formula and applies it to a few other properties (I am looking at you Batman! A James Gunn Batman would be all sorts of awesome!) we can start to get the framework for better DC movies and if that’s the case Marvel should be worried.
