I can remember back when I was a kid in the 70’s and I had gotten my first gaming console. It was an Atari 2600 and little did I know this would pave the way for games that we know and love today. Now we have a lot of great games that were covered by the Future Game Show and here are some of the highlights.

Quantum Error started off things with a bang as a research facility 30 miles off the California coast is attacked by something unknown. The complex is engulfed in flames and Fire Chief Sturgis answers the call as he tries to save as many lives as possible. However, all is not as it seems as there are darker forces at work here. Dustborn is a game about road trips in America however, it isn’t all that it seems as this game takes place in alternative near-future America. It’s a land where words are very powerful and you will need to use them in order to take down an oppressive government that nips at your heels.

For those that love bullet hell games look no further than Cygni as you will fight against waves of enemies in a futuristic setting. If you ever wanted to play an action RPG with Lovecraftian themes then look no further than Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. Neon Abyss reminds me of Enter the Gungeon as you will shoot through this 2D scrolling adventure. One of the games that I love to play is a game called Bomber Crew and now we’re getting a sequel! Space Crew allows you to explore the depths of space as you customize your ship and pick your crew. The Captain is Dead is an amazing board game and now is being translated to the PC! You will not only have to fight off aliens on the ship but also repair it.

Main Assembly asks the question what would you do if you were given a giant sandbox to play in? You can create anything your heart desires from cars and off road vehicles to even drones and roller-coasters.  Wasteland is an amazing series and instead of going to the depths of the desert as in previous installments you will be going to Colorado in Wasteland 3. The world is engulfed in ice and snow as the inhabitants try to survive in the apocalypse. More than a few years ago we were promised a game based off of the Werewolf the Apocalypse RPG by White Wolf Studios. Now we are getting an action based game off this property and the game looks simply awesome! I cannot wait to get my hands on this game and play as a werewolf!

Rogue Company is a new game from First Watch games and you will step into the shoes of an elite mercenary. This game focuses on action and objective based game-play which makes this latest free to play game worthy of a second glance. Disintegration puts you in command of five robots and each of them has their own unique skills as you will command them in a blend of FPS and RTS. These are just some of the games that were announced at this year’s Future Game Show so what are you looking forward to? Let us know by commenting below!
