Toronto Comicon Announces 2020 Guest Lineup

GET READY TO RUMBLE: TORONTO COMICON RETURNS WITH THE ULTIMATE GUEST LINEUP

Breckin Meyer, Michael Biehn and More!

TORONTO, ON (February 27, 2020) – Toronto Comicon, presented by FAN EXPO Canada, returns to close out the March break with an out-of-this-world guest lineup featuring aliens, witches, wrestlers and Time Lords. The annual pop culture convention brings together the greatest minds in comics, sci-fi, fantasy and animation for three days of nonstop programming for fans of all ages. Toronto Comicon touches down at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s South Building from March 20-22, 2020. This year, fans will have even more time to explore the convention floor with extended hours beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20. Tickets are on sale now at comicontoronto/tickets.

“A new decade calls for an all new lineup of special guests, and some are travelling in from magical worlds and galaxies far, far away,” said Andrew Moyes, Vice President, Fan Expo HQ. “From wrestlers like Jake The Snake to Hollywood icons from some of the most popular films and TV shows of all time, including Star Wars, Hocus Pocus, The Lord of the Rings and Power Rangers, Toronto Comicon promises to deliver the ultimate fan experience in the heart of the city.”

Special guests at this year’s show include Star Wars fan-favourites Admiral Ackbar (Tim Rose) and BB-8 (Brian Herring, principal performer); Hocus Pocus alumna Kathy Najimy; WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts; The Fifth Doctor himself, Peter Davison; the man of many voices, Breckin Meyer; resistance fighter and alien slayer Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens); superstar Comic Guests Chris Bachalo (Deadpool Artist), Al Ewing (The Galaxy), David Nakayama (Marvel Cover Artist), Mark Texeira (Ghost Rider, Black Panther); among others.

Wall-to-wall programming awaits fans of all ages when they step onto the convention floor, including a 10,000 sq. ft. Family Zone jam-packed with fun and educational activities; artist alley, home to local and internationally acclaimed comic artists; over 400 exhibitors from the GTA and abroad; cosplayers and celebrity guests; an all-new Podcast Stage and more. New this year, fans can save on the cost of admission and travel together with the GO Combo Saver Program. With Union Station only a few minutes away from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, getting to the event is easy on GO transit. In addition, March 20 will be Transit Friday at Toronto Comicon; fans can show their PRESTO Card at the Box Office on that day and receive 40% off their cost of tickets. For $35, fans and their families* can park at Pearson Airport, ride the UP Express and arrive in downtown Toronto in 25 minutes on the weekend, making transportation the easiest part of their ultimate Comicon adventure.
