To those fans of the Devil May Cry series, here’s your chance to start it again. Capcom has just made an announcement stating that the first Devil May Cry game will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch. I can only assume the new version will be from the HD collection.
This will be the first Nintendo platform that the series will be making an appearance on. The fact that it is handheld makes it super convenient and a fun snag for those of us who actually like the series.
The series head, Hideaki Itsuno, had this to say about the transition to VG247. “Devil May Cry has never been on a Nintendo platform…So it seems like the first thing to do would be to get Capcom to put Devil May Cry on a Nintendo platform in some way, shape or form–whatever game that might be.”
I know the game looks like a blast into the past, but just because it’s old doesn’t mean it still can’t be fun games!
