Grey Cup Champs Compete to Conquer Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
Fresh off their 2018 Grey Cup win, Ubisoft Canada asked three former and current Calgary Stampeders to get their heads back in the game. Challenged with competing against four of Canada’s biggest Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 fans at the Ubisoft Montreal studio, these pro football players had to work together closely to try and take the crown.
The Strikers – comprised of Cordarro Law (Calgary Stampeders), DaVaris Daniels (Edmonton Eskimos), and Micah Johnson (Saskatchewan Roughriders) – were trained by gaming YouTuber DooM49 to see if the CFL’s best could add another title to their roster. The Strikers went head-to-head with The Ghosts, a team of Canada’s best Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 gamers handpicked by Ubisoft, to see which squad could best use their agents’ in-game skills to win. These gamers are some of The Division’s most loyal fans and were rewarded by Ubisoft with this once-in-a-lifetime gaming experience!
With co-op being one of the main features of the game, the teams had to work together to tackle the game’s toughest missions. Much like how a lineman, wide receiver, and tackle wield different skills on the football field, each agent must customize their in-game abilities and take on a unique position. Like a football team, the best squad is always the one who works together.
Now that Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 has launched, Canadian gamers can squad up with their friends and see where they’d rank against The Strikers and The Ghosts.
