One of the Marvel properties that to me were handled poorly in the beginning was Daredevil. We all remember the scars that the Ben Affleck movie left on us to this day. So when I heard that Netflix was going to go ahead and make a series out of this character I was intrigued. I had read a few Daredevil comics growing up and I was familiar with some of the characters and some of the clashes we had seen him get into. When the first season dropped I didn’t so much as watch it but devoured it, as it was an amazing piece of work. The second season made things even better with the introduction of the Punisher (who would later get his own series) and we were teased with the next season after the Defenders. So we waited.
And waited.
And wondered would we get a Season 3?
Netflix answered with a teaser video first and now the announcement trailer that all episodes of Season 3 are going to drop on October 19th!
Yes! You heard right! In a few weeks we are getting Season 3 of everyone’s favorite hells kitchen devil!
We have seen in the teaser trailers that there is someone putting on a suit and Matt Murdock looks like a bloodied mess. We also see that he is using the original outfit and not the armor he had made so is Matt giving into the devil within him? Also, besides the return of the Kingpin (which is hinted in the trailer) are we going to see the birth of one of the most iconic Daredevil villains? That would be Bullseye an assassin that does not miss and can turn anything into a lethal projectile. Hopefully we will see this villain in his true glory with costume and all instead of the crappy movie version that we were given in the movie.
