Nintendo Switch: Newest Info and Upcoming Games

Nintendo Direct decided to grace the gaming world with a surprise visit today. They decided to let us know about what games we can be expecting in the near future, and give word on the localization of Detective Pikachu.

Some of the upcoming titles that gamers can expect, and seem more ‘adult’, are Dark Souls and Darkest Dungeon. Both of which are RPG adventures and likely will result in hours of toiling away, especially in the case of Dark Souls. Also there is a new DLC dropping for Pokken Tournament DX, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and Super Mario Odyssey. On top of this, gamers can expect to see Pokemon Go updates in the near future, as the game will now see monthly events. However, after the newest patch, older phones may no longer work with the game as they have been. Also, for the people who are looking for collectibles, a New 2DS XL that looks like a bright yellow Pikachu will be coming out with Pokemon Crystal at the end of the month.

Upcoming games:
Pay Day 2 – February 27th
Darkest Dungeon – January 18th
Detective Pikachu – March 23rd
Dark Souls – May 25th
