Overwatch has 7 Million Players Already
Blizzards first ever FPS, Overwatch, has met with overwhelming success. The game has proven to be immensely fun, and a must have for many gamers. That said, Blizzard has claimed that the game has, since launch, gained 7 million players.
Admittedly that figure combines players across three platforms, PC, Xbox One, PS4, but remains an impressive number none the less. With the combination of the three platforms, a record number of 119 million hours has been cited to have been played since May 24. These combined facts has made Blizzard claim that Overwatch has “one of the most successful global game launches of all time.”
Blizzards claim to greatness aside, Overwatch is quickly approach the player total it had during its open beta back in May. That number being a whooping 9.7 million people involved in the beta. Below you can find a cinematic trailer to the amazingly fun game, that surprisingly enough depicts the heroes, and villains, in an accurate portrayal in terms of abilities.
Overwatch will be slotted to add a competitive play mode later this month, with a whole bunch of other goodies promised to be dropped later this summer. In the meantime, I suggest you actively try and check this game out. It’s hand’s down one of the best FPS games out on the market in my humble opinion.
Hopefully I’ll meet you out on the battlefield.
