Pokenchi Shows off Pokemon Sun And Pokemon Moon

Their are a variety of show that I’ve never had the privilege to witness, mostly because their are just so many hours in the day, but also because many shows are region specific. What I mean by that is that these shows are aired mostly in certain countries and don’t make it beyond their proverbial walls.

Then came the internet.

Through the use of the internet, or more accurately youtube, we’ve garnered access to thousands upon thousands of shows that would normally be beyond our reach. Whether they be goofy or romantic in nature doesn’t matter, we can now watch it as we please. One such show is a Japanese variety show named Pokenchi.

Normally this show would slide under our radar given its far off location and our inability to understand anything going on within. Yet one episode caught our eye.

The gameplay snapshots of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon that was shown on episode 32 of Pokenchi is what drew us in. They showed off battle scenes for both of these upcoming 3Ds games.

We were able to see how a few new touches have been added to the upcoming titles, and they seem to have changed from the norm just a bit. A revamped HP bar can be found within, and Pokemon Trainers can finally be viewed within the fight. The is huge given the fact that Pokemon has more or less stayed the same in terms of gameplay for years.

We already know the starter Pokemon for the games –Rowlet, Popplio, or Litten – due to an earlier announcement made this month by the Pokemon Company. The games themselves will arrive in North America and Japan on November 18. While Europe gets the games a few days later on November 23.
