More Than Meets the Eye: Part 1
The premiere episode of the 1984 cartoon, introduces the ages long war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. As the war moves from Cybertron to Earth, the Autobots and Decepticons crash land on the planet and are awoken millions of years later. The Decepticons, in their search for energy destroy and oil rig and its up to the Autobots to save the day, as well as William and Spike Witwicky.
More Than Meets the Eye: Part 2
The Ark and energon cubes make an appearance as the Decepticons continue their quest to drain the earth of its energy resources. The Autobots save the oilrig and team up with the Witwickys but not before Megatron blows up a dam in an effort to destroy the Autobots home base.
S.O.S. Dinobots
Sludge, Slag and Grimlock make their debut and join the ranks of the Autobots. Short on brains but long on power, these unpredictable allies created by Wheeljack and Ratchet, do more harm than good until they are summoned to save the Autobots from Megatron.
Dinobot Island, Part 1
The Dinobots continue to wreck havoc and are sent to a remote island to get some needed training. The Autobots’ good intentions go awry once more, as they find that real dinosaurs inhabit the island. To make matters worse, the Decepticons arrive looking to siphon the island’s volcanic energy for their own evil purposes.
Heavy Metal War
The Constructicons make their debut as Megatron and Optimus Prime engage in a one-on-one battle to decide the outcome of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The winner of the battle gets Earth as the prize while the loser leaves the planet forever. Megatron stacks the deck by using a machine to augment his powers to fight Prime and the Constructicons have a trick of their own for the unsuspecting Autobots.
Microbots
In his never-ending quest for supremacy, Megatron uses the Heart of Cybertron to give him limitless power. Bumblebee, Brawn and Preceptor shrink down to miniature size and travel through Megatron’s body to deactivate the Heart of Cybertron before it explodes and destroys them all.
The Insecticon Syndrome
Getting blown up is a common theme in the Transformers, and this episode was no different. This time it’s the Insecticons who’ve ingested the Nova power core and are on the verge of exploding unless the Autobots and Megatron, no less, can save them.
Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1
Cybertonium depletion has ravaged the ranks of both the Decepticons and the Autobots. As Shockwave waits for a shipment of Cybertonium to arrive via the space bridge, its up the Dinobots, Spike and Carly to intercept the shipment and get it Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots.
The Search for Alpha Trion
Optimus Prime returns to Cybertron after he realizes that the Decepticons have captured his long lost love, Elita One. Optimus and Elita’s reunion is short lived as he is captured and she sacrifices herself to free him. Optimus takes Elita to Alpha Trion in a bid to revive her before the Decepticons strike again.
