Sony Taking Backwards Compatible Suggestions
Author: S.A.
Tis the season to give back, and Sony is trying to deliver. This season they want to know what specific PlayStation 2 title you hold near and dear, for they are bringing a few of these titles over to the PS4.
In a pleasantly surprising move, PlayStation Worldwide Stuido’s Dave Thach jumped on Twitter with the promising news. Urging the gaming community to let Sony know what they needed by hash tagging their suggestions “#ps2ps4”. All so they can begin to deliver like good old Saint Nick.
Loving all the PS2 on PS4 feedback! Use #ps2ps4 for your wish list suggestions so we can easily aggregate them all. We are listening…

A variety of fan favourites are being thrown onto the wish list, including such titles as Grant Turiso, Shin Megami Tensei, and Persona.
After the death of the backwards capable PS3, with new generation versions not being capable to run their PS2 games any longer, fans were looking for a way back in.
Finally Sony has delivered.
In a bid to quiet the masses and to show how serious they are in regards to this, Sony has released the first eight of “fan favourite” games. These titles are all classics in the gaming community such as: Dark Cloud, Grant Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. All of which have always had a devoted fan base, and likely brought more than a few smiles to the gamers setting in for their holiday gaming. These games are going cheap, ranging from $10 to $15 USD. All of which have a new trophy support system and sharper visual effects.
All in all, it’s looking to be a very merry year for the Sony Store and it’s consumers.
