Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

It’s back, and has more than a few fans jumping up and down in childish excitement. Thats right folks, with a familiar graphical feel that almost makes you feel like you’re coming home, Ni No Kuni is coming to us with a sequel dubbed Revenant Kingdom.
It’s predecessor, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The White Witch, was a heartfelt game that had developed a strong and devoted following. That said, with so many fan’s demanding the need for a second game, how could the developers at Studio Ghibli and Level 5 possibly say no to this smashing success.
The game involves a whole new cast, plot, and intrigue. We don’t know all the gritty details, but from the trailer alone we can tell it’s going to be a fun title. The story centers on our young boy King Evan, and usurpers who have taken the throne. In comes Roland, a young man from another world, and a staple for the game’s plot device. Together they are out to return control of Evan’s lands back to the rightful King, and seemingly have to take on sorcerers and a whole host of evil monsters to do it.
As a fan of the first game, I’m holding out tremendous hope for this second title. If you haven’t given the first game a gander, please do, it’s truly worth your time. We will be keeping you informed over here at the asylum, so keep coming back for updates on how the Ni No Kuni story will develop.
